Plain raita with flavors
Plain raita with flavors
Trimmings
Plain raita with flavors:
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons milk change as required
- 4 tablespoon water change as required
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, broiled and squashed bhuna zeera)
- ½ - 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon red stew powder
Procedures to make
- Place yogurt in a bowl with milk and water. Whisk together and add more milk or water as required. Add cumin seeds, salt and red stew powder and blend through.
In its most least difficult structure, raita can simply be plain yogurt whisked along with flavors. My own inclination is salt, red bean stew pepper or potentially broiled cumin seeds (or bhuna zeera as we call it in Urdu). One more zest that individuals like to add is chaat masala, which is a hot and tart flavor blend utilized in chaat in Desi cooking.
